# Chessup 2 board not connecting to wifi properly

Hi there,

I just got my ChessUp 2 board today, and for some reason I cannot get the firmware to update whatsoever. The board keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from my WiFi. Ive tried to connect through my hotspot and its the exact same thing 😔😔. Also tried to do everything via the chessup app and I get firmware unable to update. I tried to upload pucs, but as im new im only limited to 1

Check that the WiFi is on 2.4 GHz and not 5 GHz.
