My board is starting to get dirty and I’m wondering if there is any best practices for cleaning this board. The support page on [playchessup.com](http://playchessup.com) says coming soon.

For the glass, a lense cleaner, alcohol or a glass cleaner? For the board, soap and water, a multi surface cleaner or alcohol? For the pieces, soap and water, a multi surface cleaner or alcohol?

I can say for sure that alcohol based cleaners work well. It is a textured surface, so cleaners that naturally evaporate work well (leave no residue behind).

The surface is really tough and hard to damage - but you do want a cleaner that will not leave residue.

I typically use lysol wipes on the board and lens cleaner on the diplay portion. I also use lysol wipes on the pieces because I have several students who play using the board daily. (No wipes on the felt portion though.)
