Playing on Lichess. Something happened which meant board had to reconnect to Lichess. However when the connection returned the game was completely stalled and could not make a move or resign out of it. The game carried on and I lost on time as a result.
Seems like WiFi cut out for an extended period - and perhaps the game concluded while out and our system did not message that correctly.
I will ask the team to review.

This was a very unfortunately timed network hiccup and a separate bug on the board that I’ll fix. Timeline:
- After white played rook f3 → f1, the WiFi connection dropped out, dropping the game connection to Lichess. The board immediately starts attempting to reconnect.
- With 2.3 seconds remaining, black plays queen E1->H4, the game screen on the board pauses the clocks to show that the move was accepted locally, but we haven’t heard it confirmed from the server yet.
- By the time the board reconnects the game has already ended on time.
- When the board reconnected, ChessUp2 didn’t understand the game ending it received, and did not display it. I’ll fix this.
I can’t say why the WiFi connection dropped. When it came back, the WiFi channel was different - it’s possible the access point decided it was better to move the network.
