# PGN setting without initial square

Is there a way to export a PGN with the simpler notation? In the android app it always includes the initial square, and [chess.com](http://chess.com) won’t import this.

We have this on the list to fix. Note that [chess.com](http://chess.com) website might accept it - and [lichess.org](http://lichess.org) does too. We also have analysis in the app as well (bare bones for now).

Right now all the coding effort is on bringing in [chess.com](http://chess.com) to the app - so it won’t be fixed until October or later. Sorry for the issue.
