# Signing up into the app

I have logged into the app with my Apple ID. However, I have tried many times to log in with the same email and password, which I am using to log in into [https://community.playchessup.com/](https://community.playchessup.com/), but to no avail. Under enter password, there is a message asking to enter a password longer than 8 characters. My password is much longer that amount but I still can’t sign up. Why is that at after many I can’t login and have to revert to using my Apple ID ? I advise your company to look into the matter seriously, because in some countries, not offering a third option, namely, using a personal email as I am using to login to this forum, is illegal. It may discourage many people from using the app , which defeats the purpose of your chess computer.
