When will more translated lessons become avaible?

I was really hyped about the family accounts feature. I created a profile for my daughter but failed to add her lichess account. When connecting the lichess account I was prompted to continue on my iPhone app. But the app only connects my own lichess account to her new profile. Even though I logged in Safari browser with my daughter’s account (I thought the app pulls cookies from Safari or something like that). So currently unable to connect her lichess account to her new profile. I did not create a chessup account for her. Any thoughts? Thank you

If you don’t have a secound device, the way to so this is to logout lichess inside the ChessUp app and login with your daughters account. When the board prompts to login true the app you will login with here account.

Did more or less the same with my secound chess.com account so I know that works. It’s not inside your browser but inside the app.

We are making sure to get proper legal things in place so we are set for the long run with lesson translations. Whole new world with Ai tools and content creation. No specific date yet but we are actively working on it.

Hi @henrich

Sorry for the confusion. We are working to improve this flow. In the meantime here are instructions on how to get your daughters account setup correctly.

  1. Make sure the app is closed on the phone.
  2. Switch to your daughters profile on the board.
  3. Sign-out of Lichess on the board.
  4. Turn off the board.
  5. Open the ChessUp app. Do not use Safari
  6. Logout of the app. Press you user icon in the upper left corner and at the bottom is the logout option.
  7. Login again to the app.
  8. Press the Lichess title on the home screen.
  9. This will bring up the authorization page with your Lichess signin information. Do NOT press “Authorize”.
  10. At the bottom of the authorization page you should see a “Sign-in” link in blue. Press that.
  11. Login with you daughters credentials. Keep the phone app open.
  12. Turn on the ChessUp and make sure you are on your daughter’s profile.
  13. Go through the connection process to connect Lichess as you did before.
  14. You daughter’s profile should now have her Lichess credentials.

You will then have to do steps 4-11 to sign back in to your Llichess account in the app. The alternative would be to create a ChessUp account for your daughter in the app with all her login credentails. The advantage with this, if she syncs the ChessUp crendentials to the board, is that any games she plays OTB or with the built-in bots are saved to her ChessUp account. Then she can review those games.

I hope this helps.
