New Chessup Lessons

Most weeks we publish 2 new lessons.

Recently we improved the notification system so users are aware what the new lessons are and when they are released.

We are also working on more stable use of the bluetooth connection during the lesson (no more dropped moves). Until that update is pushed, we recommend placing the phone next to the power switch area of the board to increase reliability.

Is there a way to restart a lesson? I’m trying to share it with my grandson, but it begind at the end and moves on to the next lesson. Is there a way to repeat lessons?

We currently do not have a shortcut to restart it at the end. You would have to navigate back to it from the regular menu.

@WillScarletMacaw If you are on iOS you can swipe to the right in the lesson title (you can see three dots indicating there are 3 screens), there is a way to reset the lesson.

If you open the lesson, you can pull the scrubbing bar to the left and restart, or choose a point in a lesson you want to start from.

Thanks, I’m on android and don’t seem to have that button.

Perhaps there’s a work around if I have my grandson sign in as himself on my app.

I tried this before, and it didn’t work. I just tried it again now, and it did! Thanks.

We continually look at improving the experience. In the next release, Android will restart the lesson if you’ve gone through 95%+ to help out.
