Are you planning to move the ‘lichess’ tab right under ‘chess.com’? I think Lichess is the one I use most often, and it’s a bit annoying that it’s been pushed to the sidelines like this. 
My second question is about bots. When do you plan to start beta testing them, and can my board participate?

Congrats on your first post and I’m in the same boat aswell. My exposure with the chessup2 board has been mostly with Lichess and it has been positive. Now getting a game for chess.com has been absolutely exhausting and since May 2025 I have just stopped. Having that option to remap the home screen would help get a game for lichess a lot quicker.
The menu is pretty much in order of popularity. Chess.com, 2 player, built in Ai, and board editor are the top 4 used features (in that order). We are not planning on making the menu customizable at this time.
The bots are really close to beta testing - not sure on exact date, but likely February. Yes you can absolutely join the beta testing - please just email info@bryghtlabs.com with your serial number (Settings→About) and say you would like to join beta testing group. We appreciate it!
I am not sure what the issue for matchmaking would be on chess.com with your account - but I would really encourage you to try again and please let us know your chess.com username if there is an issue.
Out of curiosity, will the bots be based on your own engine or on komodo like on chess.com?
We code our own engine. ChessUp has always had our custom engine as the Ai low and mid level opponent.

@Jeff I would ask you to reconsider the priority of this. As a new user, I’m finding that my top 4 also differs from what you’re imposing on users and while it’s not a deal breaker, it’s certainly an unnecessary and avoidable inconvenience.

It’s best that the order of menu items stays the same. For troubleshooting for ex. And you can’t make it right for everyone. I don’t find it a problem to scroll a bit down, not like there are to many items. So the same for all is the best.
Perhaps you’re right. The point of customizability is to make it work for everyone, though.
Just out of curiosity. Are you planning to keep the old level 11 bot? I quite enjoy playing with him; I just need to improve his endgame play, as that’s where he loses the most. He’ll also sometimes play strangely in his opening, a bit unnaturally, but other than that, he’s a pretty interesting sparring partner.
Yes level 11 will mostly be preserved, we are just expanding the power of the engine so it will go higher.
