Chess.com is intergrating ChessUp directly into their app. This has been in the works for a while, but happy to report it is actively being developed as we speak. I do not have an exact date for chess.com to publish. We will keep you posted when we know it is close.

Hi Jeff,
I’m happy to hear that the chess.com team is working on integrating the board into their own app. I was just wondering if there’s something of an estimation on when they will be ready. No exact date but are we talking weeks or months?
btw, I’m very happy with the May update to the app, it’s already way better than before

It is not likely weeks for chess.com - it will be a month out or more.

Will it be possible to play with time per move of 1, 3 or 7 days currently available on Chess.com OTB? What about the bots, can the board be used for those as well?

That would be down to Chess.com I think and playing 1,3 and 7 days would be a nightmare I feel.
It’s my preferred way of playing. 
I have two toddlers can would mess the board up all the time haha
Ah yes, that would make it difficult. 
Normally I play with 3 days but still make multiple moves. I just like the fact I can step away and have up to 3 days to make the next move.

Technically it is possible to play correspondence chess with ChessUp - but there might be some practical issues with disconnecting and connecting to the app over the course of the time.
I also am not sure if chess.com plans to support correspondence mode with ChessUp - but we can ask.

Thanks Jeff, it will be great if you can ask them, I appreciate that! I’m planning to use the ChessUp as a learning tool, but I’m also still trying to find a board that can do correspondence mode on Chess.com.

Seriously can’t wait for chess.com support! That’s the only place I play with friends, so my ChessUp has been sitting in its bag most of the time―besides when I show it off when visiting friends & family, of course.
As soon as it’s implemented, my board’s gonna see a TON of use

Chess.com is the reason i bought the board, i hope it will be implemented, I’m not using the board now.

All of our software effort is going to this right now. We are giving October as the latest estimate, but I hope we can pull it forward. We will be sharing the progress on the forum as we get functionality brought up.
I understand completely the urgency and need from the customers to get this done.
