Beginner to Chess and Chess Up 2 Review

I just got my Chess Up 2 and got it setup, but where are the instructions/tutorials on all the features? I appreciate that there are new features being added constantly but if there are no instructions on how to use them they are not very useful. I am having enough trouble trying to learn chess, but now I have to learn my smart chess board without instructions. Hopefully I am just missing the tutorials somewhere, otherwise, I might have to (regrettably) return it.

Best way to start is to download the ChessUp app, and there is a “learn” section which starts with rules, piece movements, and progresses from there.

You can also get a lot of help through our forum here and our customer support info@bryghtlabs.com

Looking through the chess up 1 documents, I found Playing against the AI - Stand Alone, but how do I do this on the chess up 2?

For ChessUp 2 - turn it on, choose “Play Bots”-> then you can choose the Ai strength you want to play against.

hello . i read your concern and wanted to add something to the other replies. i would have to say don’t give up on the CU2 set. Yes , there’s a learning curve, and trust me I’ve had some initial frustration. it would be nice if someone who has a set could be standing there to teach you and me . Im about to make a YouTube video on my set because someone had seen my review of an Evo , which i had to return became of issues . I suggest that you go on YouTube and you’ll find some CU2 reviews there which should help . My review will be there amongst them and if you have trouble finding it, HMU here and i will include a link for you . I agree , chess is a great game , but does take some time to learn. Stay with it . The rewards are amazing.
