Delete a game option

Hi

On the other forum I posted a request to add an option to be able to delete a played game.

I have many games I played to test things without thinking to mutch.

Jeff gave an answer that the option will be implemented but with the forum close I think this request has been forgotten.

Can you look at this Jeff?

We do have this on the list. I don’t know when it will be top of the list - currently chess.com is taking all development time.

I would also like this option, especially for the games I play without the app. Like the OP I’ve used some games just to mess around and I only want to have ‘serious’ games in my library.

Hi if you mean inside the ChessUp app that is possible for a long time.
Go to game library - > go to the magnifying glass on the right side of the game and push it.
Last option on the menu.

While the API seems to get better over time, I would hope we could get a filtered bulk delete option for past games. Currently we have to delete one by one -and if one plays a lot of games -prepping with AI and then some Lichess or Chess.com - or some two player games, it is kind of crazy to sort or maintain. I wish we could get a bulk select option -and filters to chose which games to delete from our ChessUp2 app! That would make it much easier. I know it is challenging to make this amazing product work for -the entire chess universive and still tweak all the sub-features. Yet this one seems logical and benificial -maybe even if we had an option to do it online /website and it would update to the app -any way that would work and not be too taxing to write! THank you :wink: !!!
