Hi @Jeff,
I bought my Chessup 2 board in April and I am loving it so far! It has really helped me improve my game by making chess a more tactile experience when I have no one to play with during the week.
I am an intermediate player and have started taking time to more seriously engage with the study of grandmaster games, and analysis of games that I play on Chess.com, and I was wondering if there are any plans to improve the analysis function of the Chessup 2 “board editor” mode. I would love a way to toggle the engine analysis on and off.
Right now, it is a little clunky when trying to analyze games. I would love a way to turn the engine off to self-analyze, but then turn it on when I’m wanting to check my solution or see what the engine would do. Right now the way to do this seems to be backing all the way out to the main menu and then setting up a new “board editor” game. This works but is a lot of button presses. I would love a button that just lets me toggle the engine without backing all the way back to the main menu. Basically I want a way to check my moves but don’t want that feedback when I touch the piece every time.
Would something like this be able to be added in future updates?
Thank you for an amazing product!
