It would be great if you could just play the lessons in the app without having to connect to your board, this would allow you to watch the lesson again later and familiarise yourself with the concepts rather than having to connect to your board every time and set up the pieces. Maybe once you have played a lesson via the board, that lesson then becomes available for you to just watch in the app?

I know I can just watch the lesson in the app and not bother moving or setting up the pieces, but only if the board is connected to the app. I can’t watch the lesson if the board is not connected.

The above would be really useful, especially as the number of lessons increases.

What Lessons are you trying as when I have looked over the lessons previously I have been able to watch these without the board connected?

Might maybe be because of some differences between ios and android or a setting I missed since I’m experiencing the same behavior (not being able to follow lessons without the board connected) on android

Any lesson. My phone is Android and I get a “Board not connected” message when I try any lesson.

Ah yes that will be why then as I am on IOS. Only difference between using the board and not is the lesson does not stop when asking to move a piece and just pays though continually.
