Lessons constantly out of sync

New chessup 2 user. I did one lesson without issue, but now have constant syncing issues. This is especially easy to reproduce when replaying a previously watched lesson.

The board is on and connected and updated to the latest version, and I am using the latest version of android app.

For instance, click a previously viewed lesson. It starts at the end of the video, so it says the position is wrong. Rewind the lesson to the beginning, but the highlighted squares stay set to the end of the game.

Another common issue is it says to make a move, highlighting the piece’s current and target squares. I make the move and nothing happens, both squares stay lit. I try moving it back and forth, but nothing happens. I hit rewind on the app, let it play again, and it does the same thing. If I hit ‘play’ ignoring the lit squares, it continues, but then stops again at the next piece move.

I’ve reset the board, restarted lessons, removed and reconnected the board, etc.

What is going on is we need to add some more bluetooth message redundancy between the board and the app. Some messages are being lost and it causes the lesson to lose sync. We are working on it now.

One tip that will help temporarily is to keep the device close to the ChessUp 2 screen.
