Today I was playing the built in 1400 ai bot and 2 games in a row it blundered the two move checkmate and lost its queen on the second move. Is this normal or just a glitch. This seemed very weird and has anyone else experienced this?

I had a similar issue playing a game against the AI at 1800 elo or so. It seems it had me beat badly but just didnt know how to do a checkmate pattern. I wrote a post and Jeff * replied that at " low elo levels" the bots dont perform well . I personally don’t think 1800 elo is low at all and really have no ideas why it couldn’t mate me . It just chased me around the board . I knew i was beat but just wanted to see it finish me off . I ended up resigning.
The issue is that some levels of the bots need an end game table base. We will be adding one in the future.
