The pickpocket bot

Hi,

This is the first time I’ve had issues with bots.

I tried starting a match, and after my first move (a powerful 1. e4), the bot didn’t respond. I couldn’t resign either and had to reboot the board to exit.

After several attempts, I managed to play 5 or 6 moves before the bot froze again. In some cases, the board froze right at the start of the match.

What’s going on with the bots?

We switched to a newer Chess.com bot API recently and it appears we have some things to repair now.

We are putting this up as high priority and digging in to resolve.
