I have had a few instances where the opponents move lights up and once I move the piece it switches to another piece going to the same destination square. Anyone else have this issue?
Is this a pawn lighting up then switching to a knight by chance? I think I get this sometimes, but I always thought I saw the wrong piece light up… But it has happened a bit
Ryan, yesterday I was approaching the end game with my wife (words I never thought I would speak)). We were playing over the board, she had assistance of 3 (on chessup 1 board) and we were doing a simple exchange - she was taking my rook and with her queen, putting me in check. I was going to take her queen with my other rook and by the time my rook moves to the queen it would not allow the move. My rook square just turned purple. As if I made my move. But the purple would not clear. Ruined the whole game because the “captured” queen square was not registering as my rook and I believe the computer switched to her move as well. Had to turn off the board and play without assistance to finish the game.
Frustrating to be sure.
One example I have is at the beginning of the game when I was playing white, 1. e4, e5 would be played as first two moves. Then I would play Kf3 and after that the …c6 move would light up for black. After I moved the pawn the lights would change to show Kc6. I put the black pawn back and move the knight out. It’s happened a few times.
Cool I’m not going crazy, exact same for me
