Yes that is no problem - but honestly I would suggest not to sign up. You are not missing much. You will get whatever they test in a week or two.

Beta testers are people who want a buggier product - they are weird like that.

Anytime someone who is hesitant about it tries it, they don’t like it.

Thanks everyone.

We will be rolling out release 3.2.1 - which itself is not that exciting - but this version will allow us to send different firmware to users based on their board’s serial #.

So starting with 3.2.2 - you will get early access. We will announce more in here and explain what you are testing.

Nothing too exciting to start, just save game functions and some new sensor thresholds. Help us test that and then a few weeks later should be lichess.

This morning 3.2.1 rolled out. That update does almost nothing, except prepare the user pool to be split by beta / regular.

So if you are enrolled in beta, you will then get 3.2.2

3.2.2 - please play a game and make sure all is normal with moves and play.

With the beta program, please report bugs with this form:

Make sure to put the beta firmware release version in there so we know the bug is a beta tester bug.

Other feedback can (i.e. feedback on feature, UI, etc) - can be posted here

Note about 3.2.2 - you should notice no change. It is a release preparing for various sensor algorithm refinements.. but the initial release is no adjustment.

Just finished an unrated game on chess.com with minimal lights and 15:10 time control. No problems.

Noticed a green chess pawn in the top bar of the display, what does it stand for? Logged in to chess.com?

Just got updated to 3.2.2 and played a 10|5 game on chess.com without any issues

I just finished up a 10 / 5 game, works perfectly. After updating to 3.2.2.

3.2.2 seems to (still?) have the desync leading to game abandonments. Did submit bug report using the form also, but reporting here also for visibility.

Yes, I had this problem as well but I was able to take over on chess.com with a computer if anyone needs to know a solution for this.

And another desync with no warning. Out of 5 games played I was able to get 1 through without problems. This time I luckily was able to finish the game using phone.

I don’t mind some bugs in beta and sure know as developer myself what I signed up for, but right now after the beta update the product is basically unusable for me, and I didn’t have desync issues prior even back when it was issue for many.

Updated, played a chesscom bot game and a couple of blitz games and worked smoothly. But then played another blitz game and it froze after my first move as white. Submitted screenshot on the form shared above
