Does this work if one board is Chessup V1 (using the app on an iPhone) and the other is Chessup V2?
Sweet! I can’t wait to finally test the ‘minimum lights mode’!
After I updated the chessp2 I can’t play bots on chess com. After I move the pawn, there is no response from bot. When I wanted to go back to menu, board didn’t response to any click. When I tried to play as black, I could’t even start the game with bot.
Yes - this actually worked before.
You might need to redo the credentials:

Really like the minimal light mode. Didn’t think I would. Nice option. 
Are there any demos of the minimal light mode on YouTube? I do not see any and would like to see that mode in action in various scenarios.
This chessup to chessup challenge on chesscom is so cool, was waiting for that since day 1, so glad it’s finally there !! Do you know if this will allow to play longer time play, like if a friend challenges you for a daily game, you could accept it and play it on the chessup board. I know he won’t be able to chose it from the board but let say (s)he challenges you from a computer and chose a daily game would you be able to play it on the board ?
Hmpf… had a quick wifi reconnect mid game… didn’t pick up the opponents move… Why is it not refreshing the game state after a reconnect?
Also I had to switch off the board after the time ran out, as nothing else was possible.
I would implement it like this:
I hope the protocol was designed in a way such things are possible.
It should resync - so if it did not, can you please share a link to the game? The developers review anytime a game fails to sync and study the logs.
Nothing yet for daily games.
But you should be able to accept challenges for the range of bullet/blitz/rapid on Chess.com.
Is there a difference between minimal lights mode and night mode?
What is night mode?
We have a lights brightness level.
Min lights mode does not show any lights other than opponent move and move confirmation. For example, it does not show legal moves for the user.

I can’t see any difference.
According to the description of Night Mode in the app, isn’t this the same function as Minimal Light Mode?
“Turns off legal move lights
The legal moves for each piece are no longer displayed.
Once you’ve made a legal move, the square you moved to will flash to confirm the move.”
I’ve noticed the following errors so far:
The Starting Soon bug occurred twice against Bot Tim when I was black - the game wouldn’t start. (When I was white, it worked.)
Bot Tim was in check and he didn’t play another move - the game couldn’t be continued.
Played games are again not saved in the game history in chess.com.
The lessons you have already completed are no longer marked.
