Board Problem with Registering Moves

On my board h3 is not accepting any pieces during gameplay. No problems in Board Editor. That means that all games are a problem and I have to abort all matches so I am very interested in a solution. Otherwise I really like my Chessup 2. I wrote to support yesterday and attached a small videoclip. I hope to hear from them soon. Thank you, Jeff, for your ongoing helpful and friendly communication in the forums

This is a bad sensor under h3 and we will replace the board.

Will send now

That was a fast reply :star2: Do you have my address etc.?

If you end up with a piece not touch correctly or landing - when you lift and replace, let go of the piece by a few inches (before repeating the move).

We will likely be able to tune this out, but just so you are not stuck in a game.

Also, just curious - are you sliding or lifting to move when this is happening?

Yes - forum email matched the order

Thank you very much.

Both sliding and lifting as happening a lot, seems to be happening mostly around the same 2-3 squares every game

And this is new/recent, correct? What 2~3 squares? And does it happen with pawns only?

No it’s happening with all pieces on those squares - definitely c7 and some around that. I’ll record a full when a little later and will share it so you can see it happening

Can’t remember if it happened before 1.5, don’t think so but it’s getting worse over last few days

@Jeff I’m having exactly the same issue. No pieces not registering on the white side of the board during setup, as well as G7 and G8. All pieces registering during Board editing (but pressing play break the board again)

Versions:
Main 1.6.4
Touch 0.1.1
BB 0.2.

Just got an reply from support email. Replacing board. All good.

I received my replacement board the 12th of January. I have now played around 20 online games since and everything is working very well. I enjoy my Chessup 2 and your awesome support. Thank you to Jeff and the team for working hard :star2:
