Good day,

I was wondering if there are any plans for improving the localization of both the board and the app before the final release.

Are these issues that pilot testers should report? There would be honestly too many things to put in a bug, but it’s something quite important for non-english speaking people that like to play in their mother tongue.

Currently there are some very strange translations/mistranslations that made me just switch everything to english for the time being.

I understand that this might not be as critical as getting the functionality working properly first, but let me know if this is something that is at least on the radar for the future.

Hi Luc,

Yes, we will be doing localization. Once the firmware is more fleshed out we can start doing better translations. I think in December you should start seeing updated translations. No need to submit a bug report for this. Thanks!

Would there be any chance for crowd sourcing localizations? I would gladly assist in Finnish, which isn’t likely to be priority without help from volunteers.

Yes we do actually source this from users and have worked with them in the past.

We did not have Finnish on the roadmap - but let me pass along your email to the team and they may reach out at the right time.

You already know me, feel free to also pass my email for Spanish and German if needed. Also for the app, there are a lot of errors there.
