I have a ChessUp Board (the first one). Whenever I turn on the board the blue knight logo flashes on and off but nothing else works, no lights, no pieces are registered, etc. Completely unplayable. I cannot calibrate or play or do anything. Through the app everything says it is up to date so I am at a bit of a loss here. Is there a hard reset button or something to force this thing back to factory default? Also I ordered this on 03 January 2024, only received it in Europe a week later, but I really hope the warranty would still cover this if it is broken. Any help appreciated
So nobody has had any experience with just a flashing blue logo when switching on and nothing else working?

This is usually fixable by forcing a firmware update:

During my sleep I woke up and rememberd something. I had the same problem 1-1.5 years ago. And simply the firmware upgrade didn’t work.
Gone tell you how I got out off the loop. Just follow the steps.
Start app and connect board.
Go to firmware upgrade and let that run.
DON’T close the app, let the menu like it is when finished and push firmware upgrade again.
So 2 times firmware upgrade but don’t close the app in between.
When that is done it should work. My board was fine after that.
My problem was that I closed the app every time and retried the firmware update. I was going to film it and in that process I left the app open en did a secound time a firmware update and it was ok.
