I use the board now for a few days and everything seems to work, but I noticed something I could not find back in the manual or online. While playing against ai with the app the chessup bird on the side of the board started blingking blue a few times, but I could finish the game. The firmware is updated and the board calibrated as told in the manual. What does this mean.

Hi Harry - That flashes when waiting on the opponent or waiting for the Ai to think. It is normal.
Thanks a lot, by the way the chessup works very addicting to me. reading a lot and watching reviews about chess computers and deciding to buy yours I had the intention to use it about 1 hrs a day, and this changed already to 2 to 3 hrs daily. Now I start to believe it can be used for absolute beginners like me.
Reading the forum I tried also the beta android app and this not like to connect anymore to the board.
Ipad use OK. My daily android phone ok. I start using my other android phone, one I do not use anymore and start using it solely for chessup. I tried the beta and it does not connect anymore. I removed the app and logged out from beta but when I reinstall the app it installs the beta again. On my daily newer phone it installs the normal non beta app.
Same google account, the older phone is an Xiaomi redmi note 7 the newer is an oneplus nord 2t.
