Are the pieces the same size for both sets? If so, you may want to reuse the tooling you already have. However, I’d love an updated king or queen, they look too similar right now.
The CU Lite pieces are a new tool and smaller.
We will be making slight modifications to the king and queen, but the styling is the same.

This is interesting to hear about the modifications of the king and queen. Did you come back to the idea of making the head of the king more rounded, to better distinguish its shape from the edgy queen?
I’m btw super happy to see new versions of the board, like bigger and smaller. What I still miss and felt I’m not the only one is a variance in terms of color and contrast. The black white scheme is very hard to my eyes.
