ChessUp2 - logged in, but I get no pairing

Hi,

to help solving the issue, there are different cases to be talking about (all Chess.com)

  1. Everything works as it should: I am looking for a game, get paired and we can play.
  2. I am looking for a game, get paired, make my 1st move (as white) and nothing happens, the clock is not running. If watching on chess.com website, I see a game started, but the move I made doesn’t show on chess.com. After approx. 45s, a message pops up on the website “another login has been detected” and after 60s the game is abandoned, as my move made with the board seems not to be recognized my chess.com
  3. I can’t even find a pairing.

All three different reactions show arbitrarily. Chess.com username is QFurious and I am using the board only for 15/10. The 3/2 games are done via browser, as the delay with the board is from the beginning far too long to be playing blitz.

Please look into this, as it makes the board useless for me.

Regards,
Stefan

Thank you for the details - the programmers are working on this exclusively to resolve.

There were series of wide spread internet attacks over the past week (you may have read about google services and others being done) and it seems to correlate with our connection stability to Chess.com and other services.

Are you on ChessUp 1 or 2?

If on ChessUp 2- please try using the board directly and not the app.

It is in chessup2. There is no option from the board to select a ChessUp game, only in the app. The board offers chess.com. Lichess, 2 player, and the opportunity to play a bit on either platform. I want to play a human being. ChessUp won’t allow it. I don’t want to play someone who is with me. I want to be matched with someone in ChessUp. Can you help?

The board allows two ChessUp players to coordinate a game. But we do not have the ability to randomly match with another ChessUp player.

Are you looking to start a game in cooperation with another user? If so, here is a demo of that:

You have to add each other as friends on Chess.com first.
