IM Abrahamyan went unbeaten (5 wins, 4 draws, 7/9 points) in a recent tournament in Budapest. The 10 player tournament field was all titled players - including 3 GMs and 2 IMs. This performance allowed Tatev to cross 2400 FIDE rating which was the final requirement for her IM title. In addition, she won the tournament and earned a GM norm as well for her performance rating of > 2600.
