Connect to a second board with mobile app

Im visiting my son who I gave one of the boards to and want to connect my mobile app to it. Do I have to create a separate account or can I somehow switch to this secondary board ?

You can switch to multiple boards on the same account with no issue.

Is this a ChessUp 2?

Yes, chessup2. How do I do that ? Go into setting and connect? Can I do it with my same id ? Or do I need to create a new one ?

If there is already a chess.com account logged in, go to settings, log out of chess.com.

Then when you select chess.com next time have our app open (make sure bluetooth is on and the board connected) and you can authorize the board to use your credentials.
