Connection with various chess apps

Just got the unit and I am registered on Chess.com. Its not clear to me how I use the board with this app. I select it on the board but it does seem to do anything if I move a piece.

  1. You only need the app to set up the board. After that you can use it but the app is mainly for the ChessUp 1.

I thought it would show me the opponents move

You need the ChessUp app and the ChessUp 2 board.

Thanks. Still confused.
I can play on Chessup2 opponents or bots.
So what if any is the role of Chess.com
What do with it in relationship to games I play on the board

Hi - welcome. When you get a Chess.com account and link it to ChessUp 2 - then the games you play on ChessUp 2 are against the Chess.com players and bots.

Games you play against chess.com players are saved to your Chess.com profile, where they have tools to review games.

The experience is the same as using the Chess.com app or website, but with physical pieces.
