Hi. I have just played a Chess.com game on my Chessup2 board with the game also running on the Chess.com website. I noticed on the website that my opponent offered me a draw (after he hung his Queen!) but the draw offer never appeared on the Chessup2 board.
Come to think of it I have had the Chessup board since the start of the year and probably played 250 games but can never remember receiving a draw offer.
Anyone else had the same issue or know if this is a bug?
I have never received a draw offer on the board either, I can’t imagine that in the 500 games I’ve played on chess.com that I have never received draw offer. @Jeff is this normal or is this some problem with our boards.
I think we are failing to pass along draw offers and will get that on the fix list.
So turns out we know we are not passing along draw offers. *We will fix that.
Our initial system worked by accepting a draw if the user happened to offer one too. But you were blind to the fact the opponent even offered. We previously could not implement the full mechanism until we get a bit more API access. So we passed along to ChessCom now and will implement full draw accept once able.
