The hint/colored indicators are incredible. My children love playing with me as a result of it. We all agree, though, that we would love a feature that doesn’t give you hints during your selection of a move, but instead, shows the best move you SHOULD have played after you move your piece.
If this is already existing please let me know! If not I’d love to suggest it for future implementation.
I had thought it was an option, but I can’t seem to find the correct setting to change to have it actually happen on board. I wish I spoke French right now lol.
Is anyone able to give me simple directions for how to get to this setting?
In the ChessUp app, click your profile pic in the upper right corner. It should open a menu. Select General Settings. You should see “Post Move Hint” as an option.

I just tried this option but it seems to do nothing. Maybe it applies only to ChessUp 1 as Jeff said options still need to be implemented on the board.
Yeah I have hit that button also noticed it didn’t do what I was expecting (or anything I could notice). It seems like it should be the feature I’m looking for though!
That works on ChessUp 1 and will be in ChessUp 2 under release 5.0.0
