Maybe I’m doing something wrong but when starting a game on the board for chessup it just shows the chat. Can it show the board instead? If so how?
Strange. I can’t seem to display chat while in an online game at all
I’ve never seen it display chat either. Can you post a video of this?
Maybe the OP is talking about the dialog from the chess.com bots?

It’s normal that you see those chats from bots. And I hope you see the chess board in font of you 
. Why see in a small window what you see OTB in front of you?
Maybe some people used to play online and don’t got that vision. But I agree. Never played on a board before but I didn’t got any problems with seeing the pieces.
The hole point of playing ChessUp 2 is to play OTB instead of a screen. I love the bot chat. Super funny. Like the trash bots atm .
So I don’t see the point in copy paste the position in the screen what you have OTB.

Just seems a bit wasted only being able to see bot chat that I don’t really enjoy or find helpful for learning.
At least having the option to choose would maybe be helpful for some?

I am happy with the bot chat - the only time I would want to see a board on the screen would be for some learning purpose - setting up a position or being coached.
We may have a swipe-able rotation of screens for users in the future -in which case the board could be one of the stops.
