Late in the evening i saw the message about the fix. Did the fix by reconnecting to chess.com. Although very late, I was curious and played one quikcy online. All seems to work now as it should (no disconnect).

I realize the forum is not only kickstarter backers - but our final update to kickstarter was “This will not go perfect. But for anyone with an issue, we will make it right”.

No one is going to be stuck with a bad piece, bad board, unhappy purchase, etc.

Our interest is in having people love playing chess over the board - same interest as our customers.

It is tough to serve an entire year’s of customers in essentially 1~2 weeks. We still have 500 support emails to get through - but we handle every single one.

The service being down on Christmas + bad pieces in product, introduced a lot of people to our brand in the wrong way. That is the worst thing that will ever happen to a customer of ours. So if you made it through that, it will just keep getting better from here.

For people that opened a faulty product/faulty piece as a gift - I am truly sorry.
