My ChessUp(1) board has lost connection with app after first move

My chessboard has always worked without any major problems. Now, after updating the Android application, an unpleasant thing started happening. In the application, I select that I want to play with an AI opponent. I set the game parameters and start the game. The chessboard flashes as usual and I am like white on the move. After the first move, the red Bluetooth pictogram lights up and the chessboard loses connection. Then the blue Bluetooth pictogram lights up again and the winged horse pictogram starts flashing on the chessboard. But nothing happens, the application does not record this move. I did everything possible. I uninstalled and reinstalled the application. I updated the firmware. I calibrated the chessboard. No success. The game with the application support cannot be played. I tried the game without the application only on the chessboard against the built-in AI and it works. With the application, but unfortunately not. What about it? Does anyone have a similar problem? My mobile phone is a Samsung S20. I also tried the application from a powerful android tablet, but here too the exact same problem. Does anyone know what to do? Thank you, Ondrej

Thank for reporting. Issue is known and we are working on it.

Thank you, Jeff, for very quick response! I’m eagerly waiting for new info.

I’m having the same issue. I’m on the Android App.

Also, is there a way to factory reset the board? I am thinking of taking over a friend’s Chessup board and would like to start fresh.

Is it possible to play with 2 players owning Chessup 1 and Chessup 2 as if we are playing each other, over the internet? Thinking to buy over my friend’s board to do this with my kid. Thanks!

Me too.

New app release is on the way

When the new app pushes (should be tonight or tomorrow) - please let us know if the issue is fixed. Thanks!

Now, working well for me.
