Not connecting to chess.com bots

Hi,

My chessup 2 board is refusing to start a game with the bot and hangs in the screen attached. Not sure how to get this resolved and I wonder if someone on this forum can provide help. Thanks

helloI, i had the same problem, still sometimes now. Logging out of chess.com and logging back in via phone and app solved the problem.

If logging out and back in does not resolve it - please email us info@bryghtlabs.com and we can look into your specific account to troubleshoot.

I tried log out and log back in. It does work for one time but trying that immediately another time I’m having the issue again. Will send an email and ask for support

I know this is an older thread but I’m a new chessup2 board owner and I’m having the same issues. When I try to connect with a chess.com bot all I get is a “staring soon” message. I’ll wait until I get tired of waiting then turn the board off. IS THERE A FIX YET?

I think internet disruptions are better now, but CloudFlare was having some issues throughout the day. Some scheduled, some not expected.

This is the feedback I got from ChessUp team. And with that I don’t have any issue with the bots anymore

Thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry that this is happening, let’s find a solution together! After you’ve logged out of Chess.com on the board, we ask for them to wait for the green pawn symbol to populate.

Once you have successfully logged into chess.com, go into the Chess.com menu on the board and wait 3-5 seconds. You will then see a green pawn populate near the WiFi symbol. Once the green pawn shows up, you may now begin a match.

Let me know if any of these steps help or if you need further assistance!
