I just finished a game against a Chess.com ai bot and cannot find the game anywhere to perform analysis and learn from my mistakes. I looked in the history part of the app, and it is not there. I don’t see it on chess.com… Am I missing it or is the game just totally gone? How should I play against a bot or AI in a way that will allow me to go back and learn from the game after? What is the easiest way to get a game from the Chessup2 board into chess.com to analyse?
Sorry it is not there yet - we are waiting on Chess.com to enable bot game savings for every game. Currently you can save a bot game on their app and web by requesting analysis. They will add that ability to the ChessUp 2 API.
You can launch a bot game through our app - not sure if we have a video of that method up or not. The app pulls up the Chess.com site and thus the user can get the option to save. However, using the app is not how ChessUp 2 is intended (app is mainly for ChessUp 1).
Chess.com said we will have an implementation date for autosaving bot games on the ChessUp 2 next week. *the release date is not next week, we will just know the date next week.
