Hi, I just got me chessup2 a few days ago and I am noticing a bug when your opponent promotes a piece. It happens if you place the new piece on the promotion square before you remove the pawn. I had to resign one game because I could not fix the setup before my time ran out. I also think that a feature could be added so when you are trading pieces you don’t have to play every move in order. For instance if you are trading bishops defended by a pawn it woud be nice if you could remove both bishops from the board and then take with the pawn once your opponent accepts the trade. Thanks!

The flow requires the pawn is lifted before the promoted piece is placed. This is on purpose. There are times two pawns can capture to the same square.
Other safeguards are in place for when pieces are knocked over or misplaced.
A physical board has more safeguards than a digital screen to avoid mis-categorizing a move.
