Hi Everyone! We are looking for a couple of volunteers. We are about to publish a version of our website, playchessup.com, in German. We would appreciate feedback on any improvements we could make to the translations.

If you are a native German speaker, please let us know if you could help? It should only take 15~30 minutes of time. We only need people to review our automatic translation so it is not too much work. We only need a couple of volunteers and can work with any schedule.

@CourtBryght will coordinate with the volunteers. We would be happy to return the favor with some ChessUp accessories.

I found a typo on the German website:

Wählen Sie den Schwierigkeitsgrad für sich und Ihren Gegner, um ein unausgeglichen Match kompetitiv zu gestalten.

Should be

Wählen Sie den Schwierigkeitsgrad für sich und Ihren Gegner, um ein unausgeglichenes Match kompetitiv zu gestalten.

Edit: if I have not fallen for an automatic translation… I normally never ever have that activated, but now the site is English only :grimacing:. Anyway, sorry if that was not useful.

Also noticed an issue at product site.

You should name the replacement figures right way.

This mean.

Ersatzfigur Dame schwarz fĂĽr chessup 2

Ersatzfigur König schwarz für chessup 2

Ersatzfigur Läufer schwarz für …

Ersatzfigur Springer schwarz für …

Ersatzfigur Bauer schwarz für …

Same for the white colored pices with “weiß” instead of “schwarz”

The namings for the bundle of chess figures and Checker Figures are fine.
