I’m flying to Rome next month. Are there any issues with having Chessup 2 as a carry on item? If not, would it be able to play online Chess.com matches if the airline has wifi capabilities? Or am I only limited to playing bots?
If you get internet via wifi just by connecting then I assume it should work. But I think that this kind of wifi are requesting some policy acceptance which may not be possible to handle with the chess board. I think it is unlikely that it works.
Normally an internet connection in an airplain needs an autification via a webpage and the doesn’t work with ChessUp.
Not sure if possible on android (not possible on iPhone) but can you connect to the inflight WiFi on your phones and then tether the board to the phone?
On Android to tether you need cellular data. That takes to cellular via wifi to an other device. Down to earth that works good for me and ChessUp but up the air
