Hello, my board is asking me to update to version 4.4.6. When I try I get the message ‘the update did not succeed ‘ and to proceed I need to switch the board off and on. When I do this nothing happens and I can’t update. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
I’m sorry to hear your board isn’t updating Dave.
Normally when you click update, it should sit at the empty progress bar for a bit while it prepares the update, then start downloading the update and the progress bar would start filling as it goes. Can you tell if the progress bar moves at all?
Also, could you please private message me your board’s serial number and I’ll take a look? If you hit cancel at the update prompt, the serial number is under Settings→About→SerialNumber
Hi Richard, my board updated to 4.4.5 automatically but I don’t get the prompt to update to 4.4.6. I have to go via the app to update. That’s when I get the situation I described earlier if that makes any difference. But I will pm you my board’s serial number all the same.

I had the same issue and restarting the update from the app without touching the board solved this issue.
When I got the ‘the update did not succeed ‘ the board was stuck with an empty progress bar and after restarting the update process from the app it just worked.
