Playing a game on chess.com versus martys son ( 1800 elo) opened with a jobava london and was in a kingside pawn storm . i placed my bishop on D3 to offer an exchange . The board lit up to show BxB but then the lights stayed lit. I had to resign ( p.o’d cuz i was winning lol ) . I opened up the chess.com app on my phone and reviewed the game . i saved all the moves and Here’s what i found. The bot , according to chess.com played B-E5 and didnt take my bish. But !! - the Chessup had the bot taking the Bish. Very strange indeed . you can see the conflicting pictures. My board and chess.coms board . Any feedback would be helpful. All the moves have been added below to recreate . My 3rd move white is B-F4 not F4 lol.
The ChessUp board is also showing not taking the bishop.
The purple light indicates the black bishop is misplaced and the fact that the move path is still lit is saying that the move is not completed as required.
wow Jeff !! so its my own idiotic mistake. I was so sure he ( it) was taking the bish that i wanted to put it there. My bad . I deserved to lose then !!
