I’m having trouble with bots on chess.com when I play as black. The bot doesn’t make a move when I play black, and the game can’t proceed. When I play as white, there’s no problem. This started today when I upgraded to the gold package on chess.com; I don’t think I had this problem before with this firmware version (5.0.7). I tried a factory reset, but that didn’t help.

Hello, I’m here to report exactly the same problem (except i did’nt upgrade to the Gold package on chesscom.) I live in the UK, i’m on the Chessup 2, i have’nt played for a few days so only noticed it yesterday and again this morning. The problem is exactly as Gzubik describes. I certainly did not have this problem before the firmware update as i play the bots all the time and so would have noticed. Hopefully a simple fix for you guys.

I’m pretty sure it came with the last firmware update. I noticed it too but didn’t report right away cuz most of the time these types of bugs get fixed before I can post an email. It’s been working perfectly with Chess_com for quite a while now. Not sure what the last update included, but an easy fix would be to roll back one version.
I tested this with 5.0.6 and the same issue exists. We are actively looking into it, but there must be an issue that coincided with the release of 5.0.7.

Update for everyone - This is an issue on the Chess.com side. They are aware and working on it.
