Weather is getting better and we are pleased with sunshine and I would love to play outside of a dark room. Unfortunately it is hard to see any moves with bright daylight, even indoors. Ist there a possibility to increase the brightness of the board (not the display)?

On the board itself go to settings - > Brightness - > set it on high (or auto like I do). Choose what’s best for you. This affects screen and square brightness. Be a are that on high the battery drains faster.

All is maxed out. It’s on high. Way too less brightness (display is fine).

Full sun is too bright. We cannot overcome direct sunlight with the LEDs. A little shade makes it usable outdoors though.

Thats fine for me. There was no direct sunlight when I Tool the photos.
So I can assume that the brightness of the LEDs are maxed out?

Yes - high is max (or very near max).
