Occasionally, a Lichess game is aborted when my opponent does not make their first move. When I start a new game afterward and play as Black again, my new opponent’s first move is displayed, but the board does not respond when I try to move the corresponding piece. As a result, I have to let the clock run out.
If I leave the Lichess section, return to the main menu, and then enter Lichess again, the issue does not occur.
This bug appears from time to time and seems to happen only when I play as Black in both games.
PS: Thanks a lot for the great board — it’s really a pleasure to play with it!
Hi Hamsta, I’m sorry those games were dropped. Could you please let me know some of following items to help us narrow this down? (Private Message is fine too):
If using ChessUp1, were you playing with iOS or Android?
If using ChessUp2, could you please send me your board’s serial number, which is under Home Screen → Settings → About → Serial Number
Your Lichess username this happened on
A Lichess game-link where this happened, they look like https://lichess.org/lHJMMbPN . Or, the next time it happens, it should show up under your Lichess account game history. Or if there isn’t a game link generated, let me know the time and time-zone when it happened and I can find it.
thanks a lot for taking a look at it. Unfortunately, I have not noted the exact time when the situation happened and I do not find the games in my Lichess history
I am playing OTB with the ChessUp2, I will sent you the Lichess username as well as my serial via private message. When the bug appears again (it happend at least three times on different dates in the past) I will record the exact time and will sent it over.
Hope this helps!
@Richard Unfortunately, my new account cannot write you a private message, could you please sent one to my, so I can reply to you with the information? Thanks a lot!
