Simple solution, do as I did: Create a 2nd account. Use that second account for your unrated games or your ‘bot’ games. Use the other for rated or ‘non-bot’ games.
Just beware you need chesscom approval to create a 2nd account: Can I have multiple accounts? | Chess.com Help Center
Right - anyone would be a fool to try to do it the wrong way. Do it the right way…and have no issues with what they require and you will be golden. A simple solution to the problem.

Just to let you know, that all the ChessCom Bot games i played since April 1st are not saved on the ChessCom website. I deleted all the games i played since one year, thinking i had too many, but it didn’t change anything.
Is the problem for everybody, or just for a few users ?
Let me know, if i can supply you with any details, and if it’s related to something I’m doing wrong

I don’t have any of those issue, all my bot games played on the chessup are saved on chesscom which I’m very happy with. I had one time an issue with bots not being saved during March or so and then it came back with double saved games and now everything good. Weird that for some it doesn’t work

Chess.com has let us know that bot games will be saved by their platform - very soon. So we will be not involved with this save or option to save moving forward. I expect this switch to be done within 1 month.

I saw this post and it appears that the problem seems solved for most of you.
But personally I still can’t found any game OTB vs chesscom bot in my chesscom history…
Am I the only one who still have issues with this ?
PS: Thanks for the board, it’s awesome and as a complete beginner I really enjoy it !
