How can I choose to play with someone that’s 100+ rating higher than me on chess.com when using the chessup 2 board?
Thanks.

ON Chess.com, go to the HOME then NEW GAME then CUSTOM CHALLENGE and you will see RATINGS RANGE.
There you set a lower limit and an upper limit to those you want to take challenges from.
I believe your device still offers you to play ‘rated’ or ‘unrated’, but the rating range determines what level of player you will play.
Hi,
I edited my question. My question was related choosing the rating difference when using the chessup 2 board.
The setting inside the app/website on chess.com reflects what you want on the ChessUp 2 board. It’s a setting on chess.com and also counts when you play that account OTB. There is no way to change that setting on the ChessUp 2 board.
What is your rating on the site? Mine parameters are set from -25 to infinity (basically) on the top end and I never have an issue and I always chose to play ‘either black or white’. The higher one’s rating is, the less players exist online at a given time for me to play with that setting…yet, I have not experienced your issues. I also wonder what time of day you tend to play. I’m central time in the US.
I believe this setting is 100% controlled by your account on Chess.com and not on the ChessUp 2.
But @Richard can confirm.
Hi,
I don’t play but my son do. He just turned 7 and he rated at 1030+. Probably too low for your rating.
Yes, this is a ChessDotCom rating. In the settings, it’s under gameplay, challenges, outgoing challenges.
and do not check ‘only friends’…that severely limits the number of possibilities you will get a game.
