I am getting disconnects on chess.com on very strong, non-mesh WiFi, making it impossible to play ranked matches without losing almost all of them from the clock running down to 0 or from opponent/my moves never actually registering.
There needs to be a fix deployed asap. Mesh is not the issue. Maybe it exacerbates it, but it isn’t the cause.
I had the same problem but couldn’t replicate it on video.
It was definitely not an intermittent connection, maybe more people have this problem. Read through the link I shared and post back here if it’s the same problem! Although in my experience it only affects the first couple of games played.
Do you have a dual band on the same SSID? If the router is running 5GHz and 2.4GHz on the same network name - it may be a related issue.
This will be resolved soon as well. But just curious if that is the case? You can verify by turning the router to 2.4GHz only, or setting the SSID of the 5GHz and 2.4GHz to different names.
