I know it’s not a big deal, but why do the knights look to the right in the editor?
Since we actually know from chess books, Chesscom, Lichess, etc. that they look to the left, wouldn’t it be more logical if it were like that in the editor?

I agree. It does look odd.
Some day in the future we may revisit - but to answer why - it was completely arbitrary and picked a long time ago at the birth of ChessUp 1. Likely because the first icon set we found for mobile was right facing. We did replace that initial set with our own, but inherited the right facing.
