I’m on the chessup 1 board. I followed someone to allow me to create a challenge from within the app. But the time control 45+45 is not supported.
If I create a challenge link from Lichess and turn my board on at the appropriate time, will the board recognize that I am playing and synch? That seems possible if I am playing black but what if I have the first move?

I created an account for my son. I don’t see any way to have him accept a challenge with custom time controls and have the board synch.
Would be nice if the app let you create a challenge and pick the time control. Otherwise we can’t use it to play in the league match.

We can likely add more formats - we will check. The Lichess board API has some restrictions, but I believe 30+30 and 45+45 should be ok.

You could use the Chessconnect extension in a browser. It works well with the Chessup 1 board. The developer also just released a beta version of an Android app that I have tested with the Chessup 2 so it should work well with the 1 as well.
Thank you. I downloaded chess connect. It’s not an ideal solution but for the 1-2 games a week I need it, I can play near the computer until they allow custom time controls.
