I’m trying to train the new opening I’m learning by playing games against bots. For that, I’m setting up the opening in the board editor and play against the bot on my ChessUp 2. But after finishing my first game I was a bit disappointed that it wouldn’t show up in my app, so I couldn’t analyze it. It would give me the red dot on “activity” alright and even let me import the game but then it would tell me that “0 games have been imported” and it wouldn’t show up in the history. I’d love to have that bug fixed
.
I will let the ppl of Bryghtlabs answer this.
What you can try is this. Start a bot game. From the starting position you can force the moves until the position like you set inside the boardeditor and play on. Look if that works? Maybe a workaround until you get an answer. So don’t use the boardeditor at all.
Hi @Vito_Durum at this time games played with the Board Editor are not saved. We are working on changes to the game saving feature that will correct this. We hope to have this released very early in the new year.
That is a good idea for a workaround. I still find it strange though that you can let the bot play a different move than it intended. I didn’t even know it was possible until I saw my 5-year-old do it when he played against a bot (probably because he misinterpreted the highlighted squares and not even with the intention of cheating)
Thanks a lot in advance! ![]()
Np mate your welcome. This feature that you can force bot moves you want is something I really like. To study openings, to follow chess Books,… I use it a lot, so I also study the way to a position for ex.
is there an option to save game and get back to it? turning off the board and load the last game.. it should have an option for this.. at least 5 games to save
