Server Error: Unable to Connect to game

Hello

Just got my Chessup2 today and was excited to try it out, however when I tried to connect my chess.com account, it was having a little difficulty at first, so I had to try again and it finally connected.

But then when I tried to get an online game, I recieve a Server error message. I also got this message when I turned it off and turned it back on, as soon as it turned on too.

I am unable to connect to online games or online bots. I am still able to play 2 player and board bots. Any assistance would be helpful! I was really looking forward to exploring the online functionality!

I did connect it to wifi when I first set it up, and it was able to download the update just fine… it still says its connected to wifi so I dont think thats the issue

I will point the tech team to this thread - not sure - have not seen that yet when connected to WiFi. Are there any restrictions on your WiFi that you know of?

What country are you in?

The error pops up as soon as I approve permissions for the board to connect to my chess.com account through the app.

No restrictions on my wifi that I know of other than the password which I entered into chessup2. I’m in the USA

Update!

I restarted and signed in again. This time I checked “Remember me” when signing in and it worked!

Dang - I knew that too because I have done that before. Glad it is working!
